Accessibility Statement
Version 2. Last updated 11 October 2026.
RMCMS LTD, trading as CertifySpace, wants everyone to be able to find and hire property professionals on CertifySpace.com and in the CertifySpace app, whatever their ability or the technology they use.
1. Using CertifySpace
We design CertifySpace so that you can:
- navigate the whole site, including the request form, using only a keyboard;
- use it with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack;
- zoom to 200% and resize text without content being lost or overlapping;
- use it on a phone or tablet in portrait or landscape;
- use your device's dark mode and reduced-motion settings; and
- read clear text, with plain-language explanations of each step.
AbilityNet (mcmw.abilitynet.org.uk) has advice on making your device easier to use.
2. How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
The Platform is partially compliant. We test new pages with keyboard and screen reader checks as we build them, but we have not yet completed a full independent audit. We know about these limitations:
- Professionals' content. Photos, documents and descriptions uploaded by professionals may not have text alternatives or be fully accessible. We prompt professionals to add image descriptions.
- PDF documents. Certificates, reports and insurance documents uploaded by professionals may not be accessible PDFs. Ask the professional for an accessible format.
- Payment pages. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We use Stripe's accessible checkout, but we do not control its code.
- Time limits. Quotes are open for 14 days and sign-in sessions time out for security. You can ask a professional to extend a Quote, and you can sign in again without losing your Request.
- Location features. Matching uses your postcode. You can always type your postcode instead of sharing your location.
3. What we are doing
By 31 March 2027 we will:
- complete an independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit and publish the results here;
- fix issues the audit finds, starting with the request form, sign-in, Quotes and payment; and
- test with disabled users, including screen reader and voice control users.
We review this statement every 12 months, and whenever we make a major change to the site.
4. Asking for help or another format
If you find anything hard to use, or need information in another format such as large print, easy read, audio or braille, contact us:
- Email: support@certifyspace.com, with "Accessibility" in the subject line
- Post: RMCMS LTD, 32 Trafalgar Drive, Brooklands, Milton Keynes, England, MK10 7ER
Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device and assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 working days. If we cannot fix the problem quickly, we will help you complete your Request another way, for example by email.
We will also make reasonable adjustments if you need them, such as more time to respond, or communicating by a different method.
5. Reporting problems and complaints
If you are not happy with our response, you can complain using our Complaints Procedure.
If you are still not satisfied, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can advise you on your rights under the Equality Act 2010. Visit equalityadvisoryservice.com or call 0808 800 0082.
6. Technical information
CertifySpace is built with web standards (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and works with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox and the assistive technologies listed above. It does not rely on any single browser.
This statement was prepared on 11 October 2026, based on our own testing during development.
