What is CertifySpace?

CertifySpace is a UK marketplace that helps you find verified property professionals and compare anonymous quotes. It is free for customers to use, and you only pay the firm for the work.

Who you can find

CertifySpace helps you find professionals for a range of property services, including:

• Energy assessors
• Surveyors
• Electricians
• Gas engineers
• Architects
• Structural engineers
• Solicitors

Start by choosing the service that matches the work you need. You will then answer a few short questions about your property and the job.

How it works

1. 1Choose your service. Answer the questions about your property and what you need done. Give clear details so firms can understand the job.
2. 2Receive quotes. Verified firms that cover your area send you quotes for the work.
3. 3Compare and choose. Review the quotes side by side, then accept the one you want.
4. 4Get the firm's details. Once your booking is confirmed, the firm's name and contact details are shared with you.

What anonymous quotes mean

Quotes are anonymous while you compare them. This means the firm's name and contact details are not shared with you until your booking is confirmed.

Focus on the details of each quote to help you decide which one suits your job.

What to check before accepting

Before you choose a quote, check:

• The price quoted for the work.
• What the quote includes.
• Whether the work described matches your request.
• Any conditions or exclusions stated in the quote.

Tip: Give as much relevant detail as you can when describing the job. Clear information helps firms understand what you are asking for.

What it costs

Using CertifySpace is free for customers. You only pay the firm for the work.

Important: Accepting a quote and having a confirmed booking are separate points in the process. The firm's name and contact details are shared once the booking is confirmed.
